Ashton and Demi NOT Reuniting Despite Friendly Interaction

Despite their long and supposedly meaningful embrace at their Rabbi’s 40th birthday party on a few days ago, Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher will not rekindle the flames of their love, according to sources.

They were publicly cordial with each other at the party, according to one eyewitness: ”They were friendly… Ashton got up at one point and grabbed coffee in a paper cup for Demi, and they smiled a few times during the program at each other. They seemed to get along and feel comfortable.”

According to another source close to Demi’s family, friendly interaction is as far as things will go between the exes: ”The family is in a pretty good place right now, but Ashton and Demi won’t go back to being what they were… Ashton will always be a part of their lives, especially with regard to the girls and how close he is with them.”

Sure, sure, sure. We find it hard to believe that, with all of their history, these two can keep the physicality out of their friendship forever. And if they do start hooking up again, we doubt they can keep it no strings attached, LOLz!!

Do you think there is a remote possibility that Ashton and Demi will start hooking up together? Tell us what you think!

Ashton Kutcher And Mila Kunis Go On Weekend Getaway Together

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis enjoyed some serious alone time together during an escape from L.A. last weekend.

The longtime friends and That ’70s Show costars went on a three-day getaway to the coastal town of Carpinteria, Calif., just south of Santa Barbara. While away, Kutcher, 34, and Kunis, 28, dined on sushi, shopped for fruit and flowers and spent plenty of time in private. They weren’t spotted out on Saturday but made a coffee run the next day before driving back to L.A., where a solo Kutcher took in the Lakers game court-side.

Last week Kunis’s rep denied rumors that the pair were an item after they were spotted going to dinner with friends and reportedly shopping for furniture. Neither rep would comment on their weekend outing, but a Kutcher source tells PEOPLE that the Two and a Half Men star has long held a torch for Kunis.

Still, another source close to the actor says Kutcher isn’t looking for romance right now: “He always talked about Mila like a little sister. They’re definitely close pals and have been. I think if anything she’s a good time for him. But he’s not looking for anything serious.”

Do you think something is going on between Ashton and Mila? Feel free to speculate with us!

Demi Moore’s First Public Appearance After Rehab Treatment

Demi Moore made her first official appearance since getting out of treatment, showing up Tuesday at a Beverly Hills house party to support her close friend, British TV host Amanda De Cadenet.

Hosted by InStyle Managing Editor Ariel Foxman, the intimate gathering celebrated the April 26 launch of De Cadenet’s Lifetime interview show, The Conversation. Moore is both executive producer of the show and one of its inspirations. Before stepping out Tuesday night, Moore had stayed almost entirely out of sight since leaving treatment. Since returning from an island vacation with friends in March, she has in fact been lying low at her L.A. home, focusing on moving forward with her life and career, says a source.

Moore, 49, also returned to Twitter over the weekend after a three-month absence, posting a self-portrait and still using the @mrskutcher handle. However, Tuesday she did send a message to fans saying, “time for a change, twitter name change … any suggestions?”

In November, she announced the end of her six-year marriage to Ashton Kutcher, 34. Two months later, Moore was hospitalized with convulsions and sought unspecified treatment.

Ashton Kutcher to Portray Steve Jobs in Indie Biopic

Actor Ashton Kutcher, who got his break on “That ’70s Show,” will go back to the 1970s to play tech visionary Steve Jobs in an indie film about Jobs’ early life and the founding of Apple.

Production on the film, “Jobs,” is scheduled to begin in May while Kutcher is on hiatus from his hit CBS series “Two and a Half Men,” reports Variety, the film-industry trade publication. It will be directed by Joshua Michael Stern (“Swing Vote”) and “will chronicle Steve Jobs from wayward hippie to co-founder of Apple,” according to Variety.

The timing of the story, which was published Sunday on Variety’s website, combined with Kutcher’s well-known love of pranks, led some to dismiss it as an April Fools’ joke. But CNN confirmed Monday through a representative for Kutcher that the actor has signed on for the role.

Jeff Sneider, the reporter who wrote the Variety article, said on Twitter on Sunday that the movie will follow Jobs from when he and Steve Wozniak founded Apple in 1976 to when Jobs returned to the company in the late 1990s after being forced out. It won’t cover Jobs’ later years, he said.

Kutcher’s movie will face competition from Sony Pictures, which is developing its own Jobs biopic based on the best-selling book by Walter Isaacson. A CNN.com report last fall speculated on which actor might play Jobs in that movie and threw out some names — James McAvoy, Crispin Glover, Stanley Tucci, Noah Wyle — but failed to mention Kutcher.
