Kate and William Back On Red Carpet For ‘African Cats’

After an absence from the red carpet, Kate Middleton and Prince William made an appearance at the London premiere of the film African Cats on Wednesday.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended the screening to help raise donations for William’s animal conservation charity, Tusk Trust. Looking absolutely stunning in a peplum Matthew Williamson dress, Middleton and her husband endured the rain as they walked towards the BFI Southbank. Prince William was a perfect gentleman and held an umbrella for Middleton while strolling down the red carpet.

The Disney Nature film, directed by Guy Ritchie, features a pride of lions and a family of cheetahs in Kenya. This movie highlights the animal welfare crisis and how these cats must fight for their survival each and every day.

“He’s passionate about Africa and he’s very concerned about the current crisis,” the co-founder of Tusk Trust, Charlie Mayhew, said of Prince William. “It’s enormously important and enormously valuable to have as our royal patron Prince William,” he added.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have both been enthusiastic in their public duties. What can you say about the Royal Couple’s passion for public and environmental welfare? Feel free to share your opinions with us!
