Kate Middleton’s Rumored Baby Bump Amidst Diamond Jubilee

The royal family has just finished celebrating the Diamond Jubilee, but many royal followers have also been on a Kate Middleton baby bump watch.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary, and many fans think that a Kate Middleton pregnancy must be coming soon. One media outlet has Kate on the cover this week with the supposed “first bump photos,” but fans who watched Catherine Middleton and Prince William in Tuesday’s events think this is another round of rumors with little to no substance.

InTouch Weekly has a cover story on their new issue claiming Kate Middleton’s baby bump is visible in “a rare unguarded moment.” The magazine claims that witnesses who saw her shopping May 31 noticed the bump, and thought she had a glow in her cheeks along with the fact that “Her face is more rounded – and so is her bottom.” Of course they note that the Palace has been quiet on the topic.

In contrast to the photo of Kate Middleton’s “baby bump” on their cover, many fans watched the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge during Tuesday’s Diamond Jubilee festivities. It would be difficult to say there was any hint of a Kate Middleton baby bump in any of those pictures, as the Duchess appeared as slim as ever.

What do you think of Kate’s pregnancy rumors? And if they are indeed true, when do you think will the Palace announce it to the public?

Duke And Duchess Of Cambridge Take First Carriage Ride Since Wedding

Once again, Prince William and Kate made for a fairy-tale moment Tuesday as they marked the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee with another carriage ride through London – this time, in the processional back to Buckingham Palace from Parliament Square. (Not that they’re strangers to this fancy form of transportation: They rode via carriage last summer in Ottawa while celebrating Canada Day.)

The two were joined by Prince Harry for the ride, which came after Queen Elizabeth’s 60-year reign was honored with a procession in London’s St. Paul’s Cathedral in the morning. It marked the first time since their wedding day that Will and Kate took a carriage ride together in London.

But the Duke and Duchess do have a history of double takes. It was just more than a year ago, after all, that their wedding-day double kiss on the Buckingham Palace balcony put fairy tales to shame. The second time is always the charm with these modern Royals.

So, tell us: what event for this royal couple would you wish for a double take? Feel free to comment in the box below!

Prince Harry Snags Humanitarian Award In Washington

Prince Harry, 27, arrived in Washington, D.C., to receive the 2012 Distinguished Humanitarian Leadership Award from the Atlantic Council, an international affairs think tank, at its annual awards dinner on Monday.

The prince, in his first-ever visit to the U.S. capital, was recognized for his work with military veterans, servicemen and women that he does through the Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry. He accepted the award on his brother’s behalf.

The award’s presenter, General Colin Powell, referred to the prince’s military title, Captain Harry Wales. Powell spoke of the prince’s ability to bring a more youthful, female crowd to the usually staid dinner. “For that, we really, really thank you,” Powell joked.

Taking the stage in the ballroom of the Ritz-Carlton in a black tuxedo, Harry began his remarks by laughing and saying, “This isn’t daunting at all. Generally, I obviously don’t feel that I’ve done nearly enough to deserve [this award],” he said, before speaking of his work with wounded veterans. “The very least we owe them is to make sure that they and their brave families have everything they need through the darkest days – and, in time, regain the hope and confidence to flourish again.”

The prince’s presence was unusual even for the especially distinguished crowd inside the ballroom, but it really stirred the crowd of several dozen screaming people gathered outside.

Prince Harry To Visit U.S. Again

Get ready, royal fans. Prince Harry is coming back to America. Harry, 27, who did Apache helicopter training in California and Arizona last year and wowed the Caribbean and Brazil on his first solo overseas tour last month, will be in Washington, D.C, on May 7 to accept the Atlantic Council’s 2012 Award for Distinguished Humanitarian Leadership.

The honor recognizes the prince’s charitable work, particularly on behalf of military veterans and servicemen and women and their families. In a statement, Harry office stressed that he is accepting the award on behalf of “his brother the Duke of Cambridge, and their joint work through the Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry.”

Harry has worked with charities such as Walking with the Wounded and Help for Heroes. During their visit to Los Angeles last July, William and his wife Kate attended an event put on by ServiceNation, a group dedicated to inspiring voluntary citizen service in America.

This weekend, Harry caused a stir at this weekend’s London Marathon by telling the BBC that his brother and sister-in-law are planning to run the race next year. But a Clarence House spokesman said Harry’s comments “were said in jest.”
