R-Patz On ’50 Shades’ Author: I’ll Make Her Pay For Not Choosing Me!

The 50 Shades Of Grey casting drama continues! Poor Robert Pattinson is FURIOUS with Twilight fan fiction writer turned best-selling author E.L. James for recently admitting she wouldn’t consider him to play Christian Grey in the 50 Shades film trilogy.

R-Patz revealed his crushed soul and hurt feelings, telling sources:

“I think the author has written me out of it. I saw some interview earlier and they went, oh, it could never be him. And I’m like ,’Hey, I’m going to make you pay for that.”


Make her pay?? That is exactly the type of violent, controlling attitude one would need to play Christian Grey. LOLz! Kidding aside, we think it’s pretty odd that E.L. doesn’t think Robert couldn’t play the role of a character she based off him. Then again, she also said Kristen Stewart was “too weird” to play the character she inspired. Either way, that’s not R-Patz’ issue. He’s upset because he thinks he’s WAY too good for the part!

Rob told our source:

“It’s funny seeing all these other actors so openly like vying for it. I’ve never seen that happen before. It’s so strange. I haven’t read the whole thing, I read bits of it, there’s a book called 50 Sheds of Grey, have you seen that book? That’s amazing, just a picture book of 50 Grey Sheds, and it’s literally on the New York Times Best Seller List. People have got the wrong read.”

Robert Pattinson To Make First Public Appearance Post Cheating Scandal

Robert Pattinson is nursing his broken heart at Reese Witherspoon’s Ojai. Calif. estate – but his self-imposed exile can’t last forever.

Pattinson, 26, stars in the new movie Cosmopolis, due out in theaters Aug. 17. And despite reports that the Twilight star – whose girlfriend Kristen Stewart cheated on him – has cancelled promotional appearances for the movie, he will show up to support the film in a few short weeks.

“Cosmopolis is a film that Robert is very proud of and looks forward to supporting,” his rep said in a statement Wednesday. “No confirmed engagements have been canceled. Any reports to the contrary are inaccurate.”


So the fiercely private Pattinson will have to face the media and fan frenzy during the Cosmopolis premiere in New York City on Aug. 13 and speak to reporters at a press event the following day. Cosmopolis is directed by David Cronenberg and also stars Juliette Binoche.

Kristen Stewart Issues Public Apology To Robert Pattinson For Cheating

Kristen Stewart is issuing a public apology for hurting her boyfriend of three years, Robert Pattinson, by having a fling with her Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders.

“I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry,” Stewart said in a statement Wednesday.


News of Stewart’s infidelity with the 41-year-old, married director comes about four years after the couple met while filming the first installment of Twilight, the vampire smash that thrust them into the spotlight before the film even arrived in theaters. Buzz that they were a real-life couple took off almost immediately.

As Pattinson, 26, and Stewart, 22, have become increasingly open about their relationship, they’ve been photographed kissing and keeping cozy on date nights in Los Angeles. Barely two weeks ago, the couple were all laughs at Comic-Con as they joked about their on-camera smooching scenes.

Kristen Stewart Named Highest-Paid Actress By Forbes

Talk about a hefty payday! Twilight star Kristen Stewart raked in $34.5 million between May 2011 and May 2012, earning her the top spot on Forbes‘s list of the highest-paid actresses in Hollywood.

Rounding out the top three were Cameron Diaz, 39, who had a banner year thanks in part to Bad Teacher, and Sandra Bullock, 47 – who, according to Forbes, is still collecting from her Oscar-winning turn in 2009′s The Blind Side.

Propelled by her paychecks from both the Twilight franchise as well as her starring role in Snow White and the Huntsman, Stewart, at 22, is also the youngest actress on the list – by 16 years. And it’s a safe bet to say that she will have a place on the list next year as well.The fifth and final installment in the Twilight film series, Breaking Dawn: Part 2, comes out in November.


Other actresses in the Top 10 include Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston and Sarah Jessica Parker.

George Lindsey ‘Goober Pyle’ Dies At 83

George Lindsey, who spent nearly 30 years as the grinning Goober on “The Andy Griffith Show” and “Hee Haw,” has died. He was 83.

A press release from Marshall-Donnelly-Combs Funeral Home in Nashville said Lindsay died early Sunday morning after a brief illness. Funeral arrangements were still being made.

Lindsey was the beanie-wearing Goober on “The Andy Griffith Show” from 1964 to 1968 and its successor, “Mayberry RFD,” from 1968 to 1971. He played the same jovial character — a service station attendant — on “Hee Haw” from 1971 until it went out of production in 1993. He joined “The Andy Griffith Show” in 1964 when Jim Nabors, portraying Gomer Pyle, left the program. Goober Pyle, who had been mentioned on the show as Gomer’s cousin, thus replaced him.


Although he was best known as Goober, Lindsey had other roles during a long TV career. Earlier, he often was a “heavy” and once shot Matt Dillon on “Gunsmoke.” His other TV credits included roles on “M(asterisk)A(asterisk)S(asterisk)H,” ”The Wonderful World of Disney,” ”CHIPs,” ”The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour,” ”The Real McCoys,” ”Rifleman,” ”The Alfred Hitchcock Hour,” ”Twilight Zone” and “Love American Style.”

He had movie roles, too, appearing in “Cannonball Run II” and “Take This Job and Shove It.” His voice was used in animated Walt Disney features including “The Aristocats,” ”The Rescuers” and “Robin Hood.”

Lindsey devoted much of his spare time to raising funds for the Alabama Special Olympics. For 17 years, he sponsored a celebrity golf tournament in Montgomery, Ala., that raised money for the mentally disabled. The University of North Alabama awarded him an honorary doctorate in 1992, and he was affectionately called “Doctor Goober” by acquaintances after that.
